AXA has announced that it is bolstering AXA corporate benefits with the appointment of Simon Butler as proposition development manager.
Butler and the team he leads will be tasked with formulating and improving AXA’s corporate benefits proposition, in a manner which complements the firm’s strategic move to lean more towards the fee-based intermediary market.
Before joining AXA Butler was a pensions specialist for NEST, and has also held a number of pensions-related posts with Fidelity International, Profund Solutions Limited, The Cheviot Trust and Mercer HR Consulting.
AXA corporate benefits’ Distribution and Marketing Director Colin Williams has described Butler’s in-depth knowledge of pensions as making him ideal for the post he now occupies.
Williams went on to say that the appointment underlined AXA’s commitment to the corporate benefits market, and welcomed him to his new role.
