PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has recruited James Quin as head of its insurance market reporting unit.
Mr Quin joins from Citigroup, where he was a managing director and head of the bank’s European insurance equity research operations.
Previously, he held insurance analyst roles at Lehman Brothers, HSBC and SG Securities.
In his new post, he will lead PwC’s insurance market reporting business in Europe, helping clients connect with the capital markets and respond to the communication challenges posed by the requirements of Solvency II and the new insurance IFRS Phase II.
Commenting on the appointment, PwC UK insurance leader, Mark Stephen, says: “James is one of Europe’s leading insurance analysts with an excellent understanding of the industry.”
