The Federation of European Risk Management Associations (FERMA) has elected three new board members, who will serve from now until June 2014.
They are: Helle Friberg of the Danish association DARIM; Igor Mikhaylov from the Russian association RUSRISK and Arnout van der Veer from the Dutch association NARIM.
Both Igor Mikhaylov and Arnout van der Veer are recent recipients of the European risk manager of the year award (strategic risk), while Helle Friberg is a member of the planning committee for the first Nordic FERMA forum, which will take place later this year.
According to FERMA president, Peter den Dekker, the election of Igor Mikhaylov from RUSRISK means that the Federation now represents risk managers across a very large part of the European business community.
